Evan Janeshewski is a variation management specialist with more than 15 years experience in engineering and quality improvement. He is a firm believer in the use of leading-edge measurement and analysis tools to solve difficult quality problems, and founded Axymetrix in 2001 with the vision of bringing advanced variation management strategies to a wider spectrum of companies.

Mr. Janeshewski's credentials include the following:

* Broad experience in manufacturing industries including aerospace, automotive, metals, plastics, medical/dental, and mechanical equipment
* Experience in research engineering, technical sales, NC programming, quality engineering, software development, consulting, and teaching
* Extensive experience as a CMM programmer and dimensional metrologist
* Has created CMM inspection programs for hundreds of parts including machined fittings, sheet metal, machined castings, extrusions, and molded plastic parts
* Specialized in advanced CMM applications including CAD-based offline programming, GD&T verification, point cloud analysis, and 3D fitting algorithms, and root cause analysis
* Expert knowledge of GD&T specification and verification per the ASME Y14.5M-1994 and ANSI Y14.5M-1982 standards
* Familiar with advanced GD&T applications including tolerance stackup analysis, statistical tolerancing, variation simulation, and design for manufacturing and assembly
* One of only 10 Canadians certified as an ASME Y14.5.2 Senior Level GD&T Professional
* Seasoned instructor with several years of experience in both industrial and academic settings
* Recently instructed GD&T courses at space industry clients including Applied Aerospace Structures Corp. and the NASA Langley Research Center
* Part-time faculty member at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) for the past 6 years, teaching courses in dimensional metrology, quality control, and SPC
